COMMUNITY acupuncture
 

We are now offering individuals the chance to book into our community (multi-bed) acupuncture clinic at an affordable price. These spaces are for those struggling with their mental health and looking for alternative ways to manage stress and calm the mind. There is the option of booking one off sessions, or signing up to the 6 week programme.

Acupuncture is fantastic at activating the nervous system, which in turn influences the release of key neurotransmitters and hormones. By regulating the nervous system, people often find changes to their mood, sleep, digestive health and emotional resilience.

What to expect

Before your first appointment, you will be asked to complete a form and I will be in touch if I have any questions prior to the appointment. On arrival, I will meet you in the waiting room and we will have a 5-10 minute chat before settling onto your treatment couch (your space will be divided by a screen for privacy). I’ll take time to assess you (checking your pulse, tongue and palpating relevant acupuncture channels or points) before fine needles are inserted. You will then be left to relax for about 20 min. I will “check in” every now and again, but this is a time to relax and let the needles do their work. Appointments are approx. 45 minutes in total.

6 week programme

With consistent and regular treatments over a period of time, people start seeing great results. These sessions will be discounted to £25 per session; places are limited so please book your place in advance.

Private vs Community

​Compared to my private practice, the multi-bed format is a shorter appointment, with less discussion time. This means we will explore your case over multiple sessions. The added collaboration of a private appointment might suit some people, even if it’s just for the initial appointment.
